Our Saint-Malo location is seeking 1 Traveling Cleaning Agent (M/F) for fixed-term replacement contracts, primarily to cover vacations, sick leave, or other absences within the teams.

Hands-on management

Your mission:

Reporting to the team leader, you will embark on ferries every other week in Saint-Malo (35).

You will be in charge of cleaning the ferry during crossings and at dockside. Main duties:

On board:

- Perform continuous and rotational deep cleaning maintenance of sanitary facilities

- Maintain common and circulation areas (clean upon request from management or team leader, collect refuse)

- Uncover cabins (remove linens and place re-covering kits in cabins for turnaround teams)

- Maintain the cleanliness of glazing

Dockside:

- Clean restroom facilities

Your schedule :

1 week on board and one week off

Our 3-stage recruitment process:

- An introductory discussion with Diane to understand working conditions, get to know each other, and ensure mutual interest.

- If successful, you will have the opportunity to visit the ferry to observe the working conditions within our unique operational environment (a request for access authorization to a regulated restricted area will be submitted prior to this exchange).

To finalize the process, you'll have a seafarers' medical examination to obtain your certificate of fitness to sail.

You have a valid passport.
You have a Class B driver's license and your own vehicle.
The position requires a ZAR (Restricted Access Zone) clearance to access the port’s secure areas. This clearance is issued following an administrative review. Certain criminal convictions or pending legal proceedings may prevent you from obtaining it.
You are motivated, energetic, and enjoy taking on challenges.
Ideally, you have a degree in hygiene/cleaning and/or have experience in the cleaning industry.
You are self-reliant, thorough, and organized; you enjoy working in the field and as part of a team, and you place a high priority on service quality and customer satisfaction.
