Job Opening: Logistics Agent (M/F), Permanent Position, Val-de-Marne (94)

Reporting to the Team Leader, the logistics agent primarily performs the following tasks: receiving, shipping, stocking, order fulfillment, and quality control for various types of products (packaging materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, etc.).

He acts as an intermediary between the various stages of the supply chain, applying established procedures and meeting deadlines.

You will work for our client, a major player in piping solutions for water transportation and distribution.

As part of a two-person team, your main responsibilities will include:

Receive products and verify that deliveries meet specifications.

Inspect the appearance of packages and their contents, and file a claim if any defects are found.

Process incoming and outgoing shipments, record inventory movements, and organize and handle products on pallet racks and shelves.

Pick, prepare, group, or ungroup products, and pack orders (packaging, kits, picking).

Prepare shipments.

Move and deliver products using the appropriate material-handling equipment (forklifts, stackers, vehicles, etc.), in accordance with instructions.

Enter data into the various information systems in accordance with established procedures.

Conduct inventory counts and check expiration dates.

Fill out, annotate, file, and forward administrative documents for the company or the client.

Operate self-propelled forklifts.

Follow traffic rules and safety guidelines when operating a pallet jack or forklift.

The position involves regularly handling heavy loads to move parts from the picking area to the pallets on the floor.

Work Organization

Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Work Environment:

A two-person team that promotes versatility and collaboration.

The location is easily accessible by public transportation, with a bus stop for Line 117 located about 100 meters away.

You hold a CACES 4 certification.

You must also:

Follow proper handling techniques and postures.
Understand the principles of inventory and procurement management.
