Your mission

As an Operational Performance Project Manager, you will be based at one of our strategic sites, working closely with the site manager and their on-site teams.

This is a particularly exciting opportunity, as you will play an active role in creating this new website for one of our major clients in the aerospace industry. From the launch phase through to operations, you will play a key role in establishing processes, optimizing performance, and organizing operations.

A unique opportunity to build, shape, and make a lasting impact on a major project for our business unit from the ground up.


Your responsibilities fall into two main categories:


MANAGEMENT OF METHODS AND PROCESSES:

  • Design of the global supply chain for site operations (flow analysis, implementation, organization)
  • Conducting preliminary studies for new locations
  • Management of continuous improvement projects within your scope (5S)
  • Management of logistics projects in accordance with safety, quality, cost, schedule, and staffing objectives
  • Process mapping, identification, cost estimation, and implementation of operational improvements for your site
  • Facilitating the optimization process with operational staff
  • Participation in the development and implementation of the operational action plan 
  • Drafting and updating standard operating procedures and work instructions in collaboration with the QSE Manager
  • Compliance with the Integrated Management System and communication regarding any necessary changes
  • Participation in various meetings with the client, the agency, and the Head Office’s Operational Excellence Department
  • Participate in the implementation of "complex" projects or changes initiated by the client, in collaboration with the Operational Excellence Department at headquarters
  • Help implement digital projects aimed at improving service delivery, in collaboration with the IT Department

 

PERFORMANCE:

In collaboration with the operational teams:

  • Ensure that monitoring and management tools are in place for your site (dashboards, charts, KPIs, etc.)
  • Analyze trends and performance of KPIs (using 5P, QQOCP, and Ishikawa diagram analysis tools)
Your assets


You have a master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, production management, or operations management.
A specialization in operational excellence or project management is a plus.

 

You have experience in process management, continuous improvement, or logistics, ideally in an industrial or logistics setting.
You have a passion for project management and leading cross-functional teams.

 

You are familiar with continuous improvement tools: 5S, Kaizen, KPI management and analysis, and problem-solving methodologies: 5P, QQOQCP, Ishikawa.

 

You have a good sense of analysis and the ability to summarize. You have the ability to manage projects and unite teams.
You have good interpersonal skills for interacting with operational teams and customers.
