Job Opening: Dock Supervisor (M/F), Permanent Position, Essonne (91)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of a shift and will ensure that dock operations run smoothly, in accordance with quality, safety, and productivity requirements.

As the key liaison between operations and customers in your area, you are at the heart of the business, anticipating needs, streamlining operations, and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of your shift and ensure that everything runs smoothly;

- Coordinate dock operations and ensure the smooth flow of traffic;

- Supervise and support the 8 team leaders in your area;

- Oversee a department with approximately 100 employees;

- Allocate resources based on business needs and operational priorities;

- Anticipate and minimize congestion on the platform;

- Monitor activity in real time and make any necessary adjustments;

- Serve as the primary point of contact for the DPD client during your shift;

- Ensure compliance with procedures, safety rules, and quality standards;

- Identify problems and implement the necessary corrective actions;

- Report on your activities to your manager;

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the site's organization and performance.

Permanent Position Available – Supervisor.

The position involves staggered work schedules based on business needs and shift arrangements.

You have significant initial experience in transportation, logistics, or operations, ideally in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
