Reporting to the Performance & Projects Department and based in Marseille or Lyon, the Contract Manager provides cross-functional support to all of ONET Technologies’ operational and support departments.
The Contract Manager safeguards ONET Technologies’ interests throughout the entire contract lifecycle, starting with the preparation of commercial proposals. The role is designed to minimize financial, contractual, and commercial risks.
He may be required to work on several contracts at the same time, depending on the needs.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Review request for proposal documents as well as technical and commercial proposals to assess the consistency between the technical commitments and the contractual terms of our commercial offers, and, where necessary, determine the scope of any reservations to be included
- Identify contractual risks and opportunities, as well as their implications, prior to signing and throughout the term of the contracts
- Attend internal meetings (project reviews, monthly meetings, etc.) and external meetings (with clients, co-contractors, and subcontractors) to ensure the monitoring and traceability of the risk and opportunity portfolio
- Assist operational managers in managing their contractual relationships, particularly in drafting letters, reports, and, more generally, any contractual documents
- Assist in addressing contractual discrepancies and changes, as well as in preparing requests for additional compensation and related claims files
- Monitor amendments, agreements, and commercial protocols
- Assist operational managers in managing disputes, pre-litigation matters, and potential litigation
- Attend internal contract meetings with your supervisors to present the progress of your work
- Help promote best practices in contract management and raise awareness among teams about contractual issues
With a master’s degree in engineering, you have a strong aptitude for reviewing contracts, interpreting their terms, and assessing the potential implications.
You have at least 10 years of proven experience in industrial contract management.
Experience in the nuclear industry, particularly with contracts for the design and manufacture of components and/or reactors, is strongly preferred.
Self-motivated, thorough, and a strong writer.
Fluency in written and spoken English is preferred.
