Offer description

Your mission

As part of projects in the nuclear industry, we are looking for a GENERAL INSTALLATION DESIGN ENGINEER.

Missions :

Reporting to the technical department and working as part of the general installation team, you will work alone or as part of a team depending on the size of the projects.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Creation of PID plans and associated parts lists,
  • Installation design, layout plan, guide plan, detail plan,
  • Performing CAD design studies for complex industrial facilities,
  • Creation of isometric drawings and 2D or 3D support drawings with associated measurements.
  • Verification of studies or 3D models from subcontractors (participated in the establishment of a synthesis unit),
  • Ensure data consistency and configuration management,
  • Participation in technical meetings,
  • Conduct preliminary design/detailed design studies,
  • Write notices and other technical documents,
  • Intervention at nuclear sites to carry out surveys,
  • Follow up and consult with suppliers as needed,


Know how to apply best practices, standards, and regulations in force (EN13480-13445, etc.).


You have experience with PDMS in the nuclear industry (EDF, ORANO, CEA, etc.) and knowledge of construction codes such as RCC-M.

You will rely on advisors and experts for technical support for your solutions.

Your assets

With a two- or three-year college degree, you have at least 10 years of experience in a similar position in the field of industrial assembly engineering (nuclear-related).
You are proficient in CAD and use software such as PDMS, Solidworks, and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of piping, structural work, and support systems is required.

You are thorough, curious, and have good listening and communication skills.
