Job Opening: Agri-Food Branch Manager (M/F), Permanent Position, Sarthe (72)

As part of an internal restructuring, we are seeking an Agency Director to lead a division specializing in industrial cleaning for the food industry in Le Mans.

As the true leader of your division, you ensure the agency’s financial, operational, and social performance while maintaining a high level of satisfaction among clients who have high standards for hygiene, quality, and food safety.

You work in an industrial environment where service continuity, risk management, and operational excellence are daily challenges.

Your scope
: 150 employees (FTE)
: 8 major clients in the agri-food sector
: Multi-site operations with high stakes in terms of quality, food safety, and performance

Your responsibilities

Oversee the agency’s overall performance
Define the operational strategy and ensure that set objectives are met.
Manage the profit center’s financial performance and sustainably improve profitability.
Develop and monitor budgets, analyze performance metrics, and implement related action plans.
Ensure reliable and regular reporting to senior management.
Manage and develop teams
Supervise operational managers and lead operational teams.
Develop skills, support career paths, and foster employee engagement.
Ensure that resources are aligned with operational needs.
Manage labor relations and maintain a positive work environment.
Ensure operational excellence
Oversee all services provided to agri-food clients.
Ensure the implementation of cleaning and disinfection protocols as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.
Lead audits, quality controls, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Standardize practices and optimize the organization of the various sites.
Develop and retain clients
Serve as the primary point of contact for site management, quality managers, production managers, and procurement managers.
Ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with contractual commitments.
Identify business development opportunities and contribute to business growth.
Participate in contract renewals, commercial negotiations, and responses to requests for proposals.
Ensure safety and compliance
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Foster a culture of prevention and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with each client’s specific health, safety, and food safety requirements.

Your assets

You have a proven track record of successfully managing an agency, a profit center, or a multi-site operation in the business services sector.

You have demonstrated your ability to:

Manage large operational teams.
Manage an operating account and improve financial performance.
Manage key accounts with high expectations.
Making decisions in complex and fast-paced environments.
Experience in industrial cleaning, ideally in the food industry, is a real asset.

We are also open to applications from experienced Operations Managers who wish to advance into a leadership role managing a major profit center.
