Your mission

For one of our subsidiaries, SDMS La Chaudronnerie Blanche—which specializes in the design and manufacture of high-value-added mechanical and fabricated equipment for the energy, nuclear, research, defense, aerospace, and industrial sectors—we are seeking a Production Planner/Flow Manager to strengthen our teams.

Reporting to the Production Director, you play a key role in driving industrial performance. As the primary liaison between project managers, procurement, production, and quality control, you oversee the planning and scheduling of activities to ensure that deadlines are met, resources are optimized, and operations run smoothly.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

Develop and enhance production flow management tools for a facility consisting of 7 workshops

Develop workload forecasts and manage production planning

Organize subcontracting activities (production, transportation, quality control)
Develop the production plan by identifying constraints, conflicts between projects, and bottlenecks

Propose optimization solutions such as parallel production, breaking down work into subassemblies, or outsourcing

Ensure that operations are scheduled according to production milestones and priorities

Adapt resources and teams to cope with production uncertainties

Proactively monitor schedules to anticipate bottlenecks

Ensure a centralized view of data from various departments and facilitate coordination among teams

Develop reliable and actionable metrics to improve communication and the management of operations

Take the initiative in driving continuous process improvement to optimize lead times, costs, and industrial performance

Your assets

With a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Production Management (Bac+3 to Bac+5), you have successfully gained initial experience in an industrial setting.

You have a solid understanding of planning, scheduling, and workflow management concepts, as well as office software—particularly Excel, which you are highly proficient in.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you enjoy working closely with various departments and take the initiative to suggest improvements as part of a continuous improvement process.
