Job offer Senior calculation engineer F/H CDI Bouches du Rhône (13)

Reporting to the Head of the Calculations Department of the Technical Department, the Mechanical Calculation Engineer is involved in complex projects for the design of mechanical equipment for the nuclear industry and carries out various mechanical justification studies, in collaboration with other teams or departments.

In this context, your main tasks are to

definition and justification of calculation hypotheses based on equipment life phases in accordance with nuclear standards
mechanical dimensioning calculations in line with nuclear standards (finite element and analytical),
drafting and checking the associated justification files,
assisting in the design of various systems and equipment, in collaboration with the project team and other units in the Technical Department

Your assets

With a 5-year higher education diploma (engineering school or university equivalent) in mechanics or numerical simulation, you have significant experience in mechanical calculations in a technical design office.

Proficiency in ANSYS WORKBENCH numerical simulation software is essential.

Knowledge of the following software would be a plus: ANSYS FLUENT, ROBOT STRUCTURAL, PIPESTRESS.

Ideally, you have already worked on nuclear equipment.

Knowledge of the following codes and standards is a plus: RCC-M, Eurocodes, FEM, 13480, 13445, ASME.
