Your mission

As part of the expansion of our Technical Department and our expertise in pressure equipment (PE), we are hiring Design Engineers to provide technical and regulatory oversight for in-house activities (design, regulatory compliance, project management) or for outsourced activities (design, procurement, manufacturing).

In this role, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Prepare generic project documents (compliance matrix, PMQP, schedule, performance metrics, organizational notes, etc.), 
  • Attend progress and coordination meetings, 
  • Prepare technical documentation (design, material selection, and manufacturing) for review, 
  • Prepare documentation for monitoring outsourced manufacturing activities and monitor the identified operations on the shop floor, 
  • Help prepare responses for the authorities (ASN and Authorized Bodies), 
  • Help foster a culture of quality within the project (with support from the Quality Manager in the Technical Department),
  • Raise awareness among and support ESP Project staff regarding regulatory requirements, 
  • Submit the feedback forms:

    You will serve as the internal liaison with the technical departments responsible for various mechanical systems and project teams, and as the external liaison with the client and subcontractors. 
Your assets

A degree in general engineering or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry working on pressure equipment and/or piping: 
Good knowledge of regulations (DESP/ESPN, AREX),
Required knowledge of codes and standards relating to pressure equipment (RCC-M, RSE-M, ASME, EN 13445, NF EN 13480…), 
Knowledge of PWR and EPR plant equipment is desirable,
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English

You have a strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (project managers, technical architects, design engineers, welding engineers, metallurgists, etc.), 
You are methodical and thorough, with strong analytical skills and proven writing abilities.
