As part of a logistics project being carried out on-site at one of our clients’ warehouses in Roissy-en-Brie, Onet Logistique et Production is seeking a warehouse worker (M/F).

As part of an operations team and reporting to the Team Leaders, you will assist with shipping operations to ensure high-quality service, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

As part of your duties, you will work closely with the order fulfillment teams as well as with the teams from the transportation provider responsible for loading vehicles and managing departures. You will help ensure the smooth flow of logistics and the effective coordination of shipping operations.

Your responsibilities

Ensure that shipping operations are set up.
Sort packages and goods according to their designated destinations.
Perform routine material handling and lift heavy loads.
Assemble, reassemble, and inspect pallets in accordance with current operational standards.
Ensure that logistics equipment is wrapped and secured.
Scan the packages and pallets being shipped and ensure their digital traceability.
Verify that the goods comply with specifications before they are made available.
Make the goods available to the shipping carrier in accordance with the shipping deadlines.
Help keep work areas tidy and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Implement Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) procedures.
Identify, report, and escalate to management any anomalies or difficulties encountered in the course of work.

Depending on operational needs and staff assignments at the various job sites, you may be required to assist with the receipt of goods in transit in the designated area:

Unloading vehicles.
Quantitative and qualitative inspection of incoming goods.
Computerized recording and tracking of incoming shipments.
Handling issues and reporting information to management.

Your assets

Profile required

Previous experience in a logistics setting is preferred.
CACES R489 Category 1 certification is required;CACES R489 Category 3 certification is preferred
Expertise in material handling and logistics management.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Compliance with safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Experience with traceability tools (Flasheur) is a plus.
