Job Opening: Industrial Firefighter (E3I) – Male/Female (Must Hold a Professional Security Officer Certification) – Permanent Position

To ensure the safety of people and property at one of our clients’ sites in Balma, we are recruitingindustrial firefighters (E3I) for our Onet Security branch; a valid APS professional license is required.

12-hour schedule Day and night: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Sunday and on public holidays

After on-site training as part of your induction, your responsibilities will be as follows:

You carry out fire safety rounds and monitor construction work.
You alert and welcome the public emergency services
You provide first aid and assistance to victims
You are responsible for implementing rescue and safety measures
You are performing periodic fire drills.

Your assets

To be eligible for this position, you must be an active volunteer firefighter and hold a valid professional license and a BS/BE Manœuvre certification. A Class B driver’s license is required. A heavy-duty truck license (would be a plus).

Paid overtime with a premium at the end of the shift
Overtime at a higher rate, paid monthly if more than 162 hours are worked
