Job Opening: ASSISTANT MANAGER (M/F) - Permanent Position

You manage a team of at least 10 people, including 2 team leaders, dispatchers, and forklift operators.
You work on-site to ensure that logistics operations run on schedule and in accordance with established quality and cost requirements.
You optimize team organization: you adjust schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.
You work to maintain a positive work environment

Customer relations :

You ensure customer satisfaction and manage the daily interface with them

Quality, Safety and Environment:

You ensure that the site complies with the strictest safety requirements

To manage and steer the site, you may be required to

Support the site manager in management and oversight: determine staffing levels (recruitment, etc.)
Conduct weekly headcounts and forward the results to the regional office
Work with your agency to manage contracts, amendments, bonuses, and overtime, by providing the necessary information to the administrative departments for payroll and billing.
Monitor the site’s KPIs to ensure effective management and take corrective action as needed.
Meet key performance indicators and improve customer service

Your assets

- Previous experience in distribution, preferably in a site supervision or team management role,

- A two- or three-year post-secondary degree in management, business, administration, or a related field,

- You have a first successful experience in site supervision and team management,

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage and motivate teams,

- Proficiency in the IT tools needed to manage site operations,

- Versatility, sense of responsibility and results orientation,

- Team spirit, active listening and ability to take initiative
