Site Manager – Field Camp (M/F)

📍 Saint-Nazaire
📄 Permanent contract – Executive-level status
💶 €40,000 gross annual salary over 12 months
🌍 Fluency in business English required

📅 Start date no later than December 1, 2026

Do you enjoy roles where interpersonal skills, responsiveness, and a solution-oriented mindset really make a difference?

Are you able to build trust, handle unexpected situations without losing sight of priorities, and move projects forward with a wide variety of stakeholders?

Join an extraordinary industrial environment at the heart of a major shipbuilding site, and oversee the day-to-day operations of a living quarters facility that houses approximately 250 co-contractors.

Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Site Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for users of the Base Vie.

Your role will include the following:

  • provide support and maintain daily communication with the co-directors;
  • coordinate service providers: cleaning, food service, maintenance, waste management, supplies, and related services;
  • handle day-to-day requests and incidents and quickly find the right solution;
  • organize the necessary actions and ensure they are carried out properly;
  • monitor the quality of services and user satisfaction;
  • manage the facilities and rooms;
  • attend meetings with service providers or co-producers as needed;
  • propose and implement improvement measures.

You will also be responsible for the billing cycle for rent and related services—approximately 250 invoices—including tracking payments, discrepancies, claims, and follow-ups as needed.

Your Profile: Your Mindset Will Make the Difference

Above all, we are looking for someone with the right mindset to take full ownership of their area of responsibility.

You are a person who:

  • positive, approachable, and solution-oriented;
  • naturally focused on service and user satisfaction;
  • able to easily build a relationship of trust with a variety of people;
  • responsive and resourceful when dealing with unexpected situations;
    , yet able to alert and reach out to the right people when necessary;
  • able to prioritize and remain calm when multiple requests come in at the same time;
  • reliable: you take on an issue, follow up on it, and make sure it's actually resolved;
  • comfortable enforcing guidelines while maintaining a constructive relationship;
  • meticulous in administrative and financial tracking;
    very proficient with computer software, particularly Excel, Outlook, and office applications.

We place just as much importance on your professional demeanor, your team spirit, and your ability to find solutions as we do on your background.

A minimum of two years of post-high-school education (Bac +2) or equivalent is preferred, but your professional experience and ability to handle a wide range of responsibilities will be prioritized.

Experience in facility management, multiservice operations, general services, the hospitality industry, logistics, or vendor coordination would be particularly suitable.
