Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of operations, the quality of services, and customer satisfaction in a demanding environment that requires responsiveness and quick decision-making.
Night-shift supervision is provided across the three sectors, following a rotation system shared among the three Operations Managers.
The position requires effective communication, strong team cohesion, and complete transparency with the Branch Manager and the Director of Operations.
It also requires a high degree of responsiveness and the ability to make quick operational decisions tailored to the situations encountered.
Job specifics
Night shift: 10:45 PM – 8:00 AM, with the possibility of working until 10:00 AM (to prepare reports)
Work organization:
In this role, your main responsibilities are as follows:
Management and Organization
Organize, supervise, and lead supervisors and team leaders
Prevent and manage conflicts
Implement and enforce the policy defined by the Branch Manager
Oversee the recruitment of blue-collar staff
Ensure staff training and competence
Ensure compliance with job descriptions, internal regulations, and discipline
Operations Management
Organizework and determine the necessary human and technical resources
Establish schedules and monitor the progress of services
Ensure the proper execution of work and compliance with specifications
Prepare daily activity reports and distribute them
Customer relations and development
Maintain regular contact with customers and ensure their satisfaction
Build a relationship of trust with client representatives, elected officials, supervisors, and “village chiefs”
Monitor the market and identify development opportunities
Prepare quotes (using existing templates) and formalize any additional services
Management and Performance
Implement action plans defined by management to achieve budget objectives
Quality, Safety, Environment (QSE)
Apply the group’s policies, procedures, and operating methods
Monitor security-related clearances and authorizations
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines on job sites
Implement prevention and protection measures
Deploy quality procedures within one’s scope of responsibility
Conduct and oversee regular on-site inspections (QSE visits, safety briefings, cross-checks or other inspections, behavioral inspections)
Are you motivated by a dynamic and demanding environment?
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field, as well as at least 2 to 5 years of experience in operations and management. You possess strong organizational and leadership skills, combined with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to service.
You are able to handle unexpected situations effectively and make appropriate decisions quickly. Finally, you demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
