Job Opening: Group Tax Manager (M/F), Permanent Position, Bouches-du-Rhône (13)

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, you will lead a team of five employees and ensure that Onet’s legal and tax framework is implemented effectively in compliance with applicable laws, in order to safeguard the Group’s operations and contribute to value creation.

As such, your main tasks are as follows:

Define and implement the Group's tax policy, in line with the Executive Management's strategic direction and the needs of the operational divisions.
Develop a roadmap for the tax department by identifying priorities, the necessary resources, and the tools to be implemented.
Validate and ensure the compliance of the methods, procedures, and tools used to implement tax policy.
Manage and oversee tax issues related to external growth initiatives.
Identify the specific tax aspects of the group's activities and analyze their legal, accounting, and financial implications.
Monitor tax and regulatory developments, advise senior management and operational departments on tax issues, and support the implementation of related decisions.
Oversee tax audits and disputes, as well as relations with the statutory auditors.
Develop and maintain relationships with professional and employer associations in order to represent and promote Onet’s interests.
Oversee international tax matters related to the group's growth, the management of foreign subsidiaries, and transfer pricing issues.
Manage and lead a team of 5 people, and be responsible for their professional development.
Manage the department's budget, as well as its performance metrics and dashboards.

Your assets

With a degree in taxation, business law, or finance, you have at least 10 years of experience in corporate taxation, gained while working for large corporations and/or a leading consulting firm.

You have an excellent command of tax law and corporate taxation. You also have a solid understanding of French standards, processes, and regulations, as well as international tax issues. Your understanding of accounting and financial mechanisms enables you to grasp tax issues in their entirety.

Your attention to detail, your broad perspective, and your ability to grasp complex issues enable you to support the group’s strategic decision-making. With excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to influence others, you know how to build relationships of trust with high-level contacts and rally your teams around common goals.

You are fully proficient in office software, particularly the Office suite, as well as the main industry-specific software programs. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
