Your mission:
Reporting to the Area Manager, your duties will include :
SUPERVISION
o Supervise service staff and lead by example
o Listen to staff to anticipate problems and find solutions
o Ensure that service staff are trained, authorized, and qualified to perform their duties
o Ensure that safety guidelines, procedures, work instructions, and operating procedures are followed, and that PPE is used
o Participate in recruitment efforts
o Welcome new hires and temporary workers
SITE SUPERVISION
o Manage the technical and administrative aspects of the site
o Organize and direct construction sites; monitor their progress and ensure proper execution
o Verify compliance with the specifications
o Monitor theimplementation of the safety plan
o Ensure site safety during and outside of working hours
o Ensure that waste is properly sorted and disposed of
o Ensure that the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (QHSE) procedures defined by management are followed
o May be required to actively participate in operations
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
o Serve as a permanent point of contact for customers and answer their questions
EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE
o Manage inventory of products, supplies, and PPE, as well as their distribution
o Ensure that the materials and equipment used are in good working order and that periodic inspections have been conducted
Administration
‐ Visit Log Form
‐ Sign the communication logs and/or attendance logs
Resource Management
Human Resources
‐ Collection of time sheets
‐ Mentoring
‐ May participate in staff evaluations
Quality, Hygiene,
Safety and Environmental
‐ Briefing, behavioral safety inspection, safety inspection
‐ Verification that the operating file is available
‐ Ensures compliance with safety guidelines
‐ Monitors corrective, preventive, and remedial actions.
A hands-on person, you are recognized for your taste for teamwork, your reliability and your ability to anticipate. You have proven experience in managing construction sites and supervising work teams in an industrial context.
You are familiar with the requirements of construction sites and are recognized for your interpersonal skills. You enjoy teamwork and have a sense of responsibility and results.
Your decision-making skills will enable you to succeed in this position.
Knowledge of office software (Excel/Word).
