Your mission

As part of its efforts to strengthen its data strategy and optimize its operational performance, Onet Airport Services is creating a position for a Data Manager / Lead Data Engineer. Reporting to the Operational Excellence team, you will be responsible for structuring, developing, and leading the company’s data strategy to support operational performance, continuous improvement, and decision-making. This position is based at Roissy CDG and requires on-site work Monday through Friday. As a true partner to operations, the Data Manager combines data engineering expertise, strategic vision, and a strong connection to the front lines to transform data into a performance driver for Onet Airport Services’ airport support activities. You will support operational teams on a daily basis and contribute directly to the company’s operational excellence.

Your tasks :

Defining and Managing the Data Strategy

Develop and implement the data roadmap in alignment with the company's operational priorities.
Supporting the data transformation of airport assistance operations.
Use data as a driver of performance and continuous improvement.
Ensure data governance, reliability, and quality.

Data Engineering Expertise

Design and evolve data architectures.
Develop and implement ETL/ELT processes.
Ensure the collection, integration, and provision of data from various operational systems.
Manage data warehouse, data lake, and cloud solutions environments.
Ensure the performance, security, and availability of the data platforms.

Monitoring Performance Metrics

Develop reporting tools and dashboards for operational teams and management.
Produce analyses that help optimize airport operations.
Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service quality, productivity, and operational excellence.
Support business units in using and interpreting data.

Team Management

Supervise, mentor, and develop the skills of two data analysts.
Organize priorities and coordinate data projects.
Implement best practices for work processes, documentation, and the quality of deliverables.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Monitor technological developments in data, BI, and artificial intelligence solutions.
Identify and implement new use cases that offer high added value.
Actively participate in projects to digitize and optimize operations.

Your assets

Education: Master's degreein Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

At least 8 years of experience in data-related fields.
Extensive experience in data engineering.
Proven experience in designing data architectures and scaling data flows.
Proven experience in team management is strongly preferred.
Experience in a complex operational environment (transportation, logistics, aviation, manufacturing, or services) is a major asset.

Technical skills

Expertise in data engineering and data architecture.
Proficiency in SQL databases.
Strong knowledge of cloud environments (preferably Azure).
Proficiency in BI tools and data visualization (particularly Power BI).
Knowledge of ETL/ELT technologies.
Strong data modeling skills.
Knowledge of issues related to governance, data quality, and data security.

Languages

. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for interacting with international counterparts, participating in meetings, and working with technical documentation that is primarily written in English.
