Offer description

Your mission

As part of major contract wins in welding and piping at the Blayais nuclear power plant, Onet Technologies is setting up a new branch in Blayais and recruiting a Nuclear Pipe Fitter (M/F).

 

Reporting to the Team Leader, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Apply and ensure compliance with safety instructions
- Understand and comply with the provisions of work permits
- Carry out the work specified in the permit and applicable documents:

  • Install the pipe supports according to the general layout drawings.
  • Prepare pipe components (cutting, grinding, chamfering, tapping)
  • Assemble the prefabricated pipe sections
  • Install valves, fittings, and all flanged accessories.
  • Adjust the fixed and elastic supports
  • Check the compliance of installed lines
  • Isolate the circuits to prepare for hydraulic testing in accordance with the test plan.
  • Perform hydraulic tests

- Plot the modifications made for the "as-built" drawing on the isometric plan, which is part of the final file.

- Perform self-checks and requested checks before the client accepts the work and ensure that they are formalized in accordance with the control plan
- If necessary, liaise with the client's representatives during the execution of the work
- Help to ensure that deadlines are met
- Make suggestions for improvement and report any anomalies.

 

The position is based in Blayais (with occasional travel to other power plants).

Your assets

With a background in metallurgy, you have at least 10 years of proven experience in the nuclear field.


You are able to take measurements and interpret isometric drawings.

You are independent and thorough, have good manual dexterity, and enjoy working in a team.
