Fabrice Amedeo returns at La Base de Lorient

Onet and Fabrice Amedeo, from the pontoons of Le Havre to those of Fort-de-France. These last two races have been the scene of many highlights for our partnership, revealing the deep commitment of our employees to our navigator and the preservation of the oceans.

The christening ceremony for Fabrice Amedeo's IMOCA was marked by his commitment to the community. The start of the Transat Jacques Vabre, delayed by storm Ciaran, and course adjustments for the boats entered were necessary.

And the messages of encouragement were a source of inspiration for Fabrice before his departure.

Onet x Fabrice Amedeo, for the protection of the oceans

The presence of our Onet employees at the Transat Jacques Vabre starting village was marked by a focus on raising awareness of ocean preservation.

The visit to Fabrice Amedeo's IMOCA provided an opportunity to discover the sensors that aim to better understand the impact of global warming, supported by Onet as part of the #OceanCalling oceanographic project since 2019.

Onet employees also present at the finish line

Agence Onet Cleaning and Associated Services des Antilles, based in Fort de France, Martinique, had the opportunity to meet Fabrice Amedeo at the finish of the race. The meeting provided an opportunity to visit the boat and talk with the navigator. A strong commitment that testifies to the Onet Group's commitment to the environment, beyond the oceans.

Fabrice Amedeo in 27th place in the Retour à la Base race

At the end of the Return to Base, Fabrice Amedeo finished in 27th position, marking an important milestone for his daggerboard IMOCA.

This promising performance opens up great prospects for the Vendée Globe 2024.

Despite a few technical hitches, this race was a crucial step in fine-tuning the boat and strategy for the next few races, including the New-York Vendée Les Sables d'Olonne.
