Onet Technologies signs tubular exchanger supply contract with EDF

Onet Technologies, leader of the joint venture formed with ACM and Allia, has signed a contract with EDF to supply 42 tubular heat exchangers for EPR2 reactors. When the reactor is shut down, this equipment is mounted on the circuits that cool the water in the reactor building pool and treat the effluent produced by the plant's operation.

A new success for Onet Technologies in the EPR2 program

This new contract illustrates EDF's renewed confidence in the skills of Onet Technologies, already involved in several contracts for the EPR2 program. As leader of the consortium, Onet Technologies is in charge of studies and the role of Regulatory Manufacturer (regulatory assessment of exchanger conformity - ESPN). Partners ACM and Allia will be responsible for manufacturing.

This contract follows on from the first EPR2 contract, won in 2024 by Onet Technologies, also in partnership with ACM. This success demonstrates Onet Technologies' expertise in the design and manufacture of complex parts, as well as our mastery of French regulations on Nuclear Pressure Equipment (NPE), enabling us to guarantee our customers equipment that meets the highest quality standards. These are the skills that will be at the heart of tomorrow's nuclear industry.

Under the terms of this previous contract, Onet Technologies, the contract's agent, is responsible for :

  • Design studies
  • Project management
  • Tube supply
  • Optional assembly and testing supervision

These services will mobilize employees with a wide range of profiles: ESPN engineers, mechanical and thermal-hydraulic calculation engineers, project managers, technical architects...

Onet Technologies at the service of low-carbon, sovereign energy

Our ambition is to be a leading player in the revitalization of the nuclear industry, whether for new builds, reactor life extension, major refurbishment or the industrialization of nuclear dismantling.
