Job Opening: Forklift Operator (M/F), Permanent Position, Indre-et-Loire (37)

As part of the opening of a new logistics facility dedicated to a major player in the aerospace industry, we are expanding our team and hiring for forklift operator positions

Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you will be involved in all operations related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Your main tasks are :

Participate in inventory counts.

Unload and receive goods and products; verify that the delivery is in order.

Pick products according to the order fulfillment instructions and assemble packages, lots, etc.

Load packages and transport them to the shipping, storage, or production areas; put them into storage.

Complete and fill out all activity tracking documents or software, and submit a report on spoiled products and defective equipment.

Take care of the material-handling equipment entrusted to you and maintain it in good working order.

Clean and tidy up the work area (equipment, supplies, etc.)

Train new hires through mentorship.

Manually handling goods

The position involves working hours ranging from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rotating schedule for various shift start times.

Key Skills

Use of optical barcode readers (barcode scanners, etc.) or QR codes.

Use of material-handling equipment.

Reading / writing / counting data.

Reading a storage plan.

Safety and Security Rules and Guidelines.

Handling Movements and Postures - Carrying loads weighing more than 10 kg.

Rules and procedures for order fulfillment and warehousing, as well as storage guidelines.

Possession of a CACES R489 certification in categories 1 and 3 is mandatory.

This position may be subject to an administrative investigation by French authorities, including the submission of Criminal Record Bulletin No. 3.
