Onet Logistics & Production is seeking a Team Leader (M/F) to manage and lead its on-site operational teams, ensure the quality of services, and guarantee customer satisfaction in the logistics sector.
Reporting to the site manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of logistics activities and supervise operations staff, alternating with a second team leader. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the work performed, in accordance with procedures and health and safety regulations.
🚀 Your main responsibilities
Management & Team Leadership
- Schedule staff based on workload and events.
- Conduct annual and performance reviews, and communicate training needs to management.
- Assist with the recruitment of new employees as needed.
- Distribute the workload according to the specifications.
- Ensure team cohesion, accountability, and well-being.
- Help new employees settle into their new roles.
- Manage and lead the team, organize team meetings, and monitor SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule, and Personnel).
- Provide operational training and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Handle administrative tasks related to employees (attendance, supporting documents, etc.).
Organization and Management of Logistics Operations
- Organize the team's work according to the priorities set by management.
- Ensure the quality of work and adherence to processes, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Check the quantity and quality of returned customer containers.
- Actively participate in backup operations as needed.
- Update the database and performance metrics.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and site projects.
- Manage equipment needs and ensure that equipment is functioning properly.
- Ensure that projects are properly closed out and share the relevant information to ensure clear visibility both internally and for clients.
- Help draft work procedures in collaboration with support services and management.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards regarding working hours, quality, health, safety, and the environment (QHSE), and internal policies.
Customer Relations & Communication
- Ensure smooth communication with the team, management, and the client.
- Attend regular meetings with the client and ensure that the expected level of service is maintained.
- Serve as the point of contact for all customer inquiries or requests regarding the department’s operations.
- Escalate any issues or instances of non-compliance with client requirements to management for resolution.
