Job Opening: Logistics Team Leader (M/F), Permanent Position, Indre-et-Loire (37)

Your actions help minimize disruptions such as fluctuations in workload or exceptional demands, thereby improving our employees’ quality of life at work and their productivity.

You will work closely with the Assistant Site Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that the tasks listed below are completed within the agreed-upon deadlines and to the agreed-upon quality standards.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Management

-Identify the operational team’s workload: Receiving, Internal Workflow, Shipping, and break it down based on peak workloads.

-Perform operational support tasks (during staff absences and peak periods)

-Create schedules and manage time off

-Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are kept up to date

-Integrating newcomers

-Compile the metrics and daily volume data (5-minute update)

-Organize work areas to ensure safety

-Manage the clothing inventory and place orders as needed

Processing Customer Requests

-Analyze requests: complaints, requests for various types of information

-Process the request, plan next steps, and communicate with employees through town hall meetings

-Manage the flow of requests to prevent operational disruptions

-Systematically implement a written feedback process with management

-At the end of each treatment, if there are changes to operational procedures

update procedures and train staff

Continuous Improvement

-Foster a culture of team suggestions

-Facilitate informal discussions (causal analysis, safety, or a specific current topic)

-Promote the team's ideas by implementing them quickly

Versatility and autonomy across the entire Receiving & Shipping administrative process are essential for delivering parts on time in accordance with our customer’s requirements.

Your assets

Trained in logistics as a forklift operator or material handler, or with significant experience in this field

You have a proven track record of successful management experience

- CACES 1, 2, 3, and 5

- Training Course 11.2.3.9 on Airport Security

- Human Factors Training, B2/145 sessions, FOD DOD, and BOGUS

- Prefectural authorization to access "Known Shipper" zones.
