Your mission

Reporting to the Executive Management, the Provincial Operations Director oversees and coordinates all operational activities at our regional airport locations. Serving as a key strategic link between Executive Management and the airport locations, he or she actively contributes to business development, customer satisfaction, and the growth of the company’s results.

Your tasks :

Airport Operations Management

  • Oversee and coordinate the operations of the various regional stops.
  • Ensure that services are performed properly in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that operational standards are followed across the entire network.
  • Monitor operational performance indicators and implement the necessary action plans.
  • Support teams in their efforts toward continuous improvement and process optimization.

Management of Port Managers

  • Supervise, lead, and support the Operations Managers (Station Managers).
  • Set individual and team goals and monitor progress toward them.
  • Develop the managerial skills of management teams.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for strategic positions and support career development.
  • Promote cohesion, engagement, and a culture of performance.

Financial Management and Performance Management

  • Ensure the financial management of all airports within its jurisdiction.
  • Monitor budgets, analyze results, and ensure that financial goals are met.
  • Optimize human and material resources to improve the profitability of operations.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Participate in the budget-building process and business forecasting.

Business Development and Customer Relations

  • Maintain strong relationships with airlines, airport operators, and local partners.
  • Participate in trade negotiations and in responses to requests for proposals.
  • Identify new growth opportunities on regional platforms.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and the growth of the customer base.
  • Handle sensitive situations and customer escalations.

Quality, Safety, Security, and Environment (QSSE)

  • Ensure compliance with airport regulations, security requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Promote a culture of safety and security among all teams.
  • Oversee audits, inspections, and related action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable certifications and standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives at stopover locations.

Reporting and Strategy
Provide regular reports to senior management.
Analyze the operational, financial, and social results within one’s area of responsibility.

Your assets
  • Advanced degree (5 years of post-secondary education) in business administration, aviation, engineering, logistics, or management.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the airport industry, including several years in multi-site management roles.
    Proven experience managing airport managers or operations managers.
  • Thorough knowledge of airport support services, air transportation, or services related to the airport environment.
  • Strong skills in financial management and profit center management.
  • Proficiency in reporting and performance analysis tools.
  • Fluent in business English.
  • Unifying leadership.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong focus on customers and results.
  • Ability to manage multi-site organizations.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle demanding and operational environments.
  • Availability and nationwide mobility.

Reports to:
General Management / Operations Department.

Direct management:
Operations Managers (Station Managers) at regional hubs.
