Your mission

As an engineering and services company, Onet Technologies' main mission is to support nuclear industry players in project development, operation, maintenance in safe conditions and decommissioning of nuclear facilities.

Our activities are grouped into 3 main business lines: reactor design, maintenance and modification; dismantling, decontamination and nuclear waste treatment; operator services and training.

 

We are recruiting for our welding unit, within the Reactor Engineering and Services Department, a:

Alternating welding coordinator

 

Your main missions will involve both operational and technical management.

 

From an operational point of view :

- Participate in the development phases of welding procedures (R&D or project welding operating procedures)

Participate in the preparation and supervision of WPQR and WQ tests.

Participate in qualifications management (QMOS and QS) in line with internal needs.

- Perform in-process inspection activities in the workshop, on-site, or at subcontractors' premises.

- Ensure design conformity for welded assemblies (design reviews, plan and isometric reviews, etc.).

- Define welding inspection methodologies

- Contribute to the operational training of welders

Contribute to the efficient management of consumables

 

From a technical point of view :

Participate in tender reviews by analyzing the technical and regulatory requirements related to welded assemblies.

- Prepare technical execution documents for construction sites and projects (welding specifications and procedures)

-Participate in the technical skill assessment of execution personnel and the application of best practices in welding (on-site, in the workshop, or at subcontractors' facilities, as applicable)

- Assist operational personnel on-site (construction site), in workshops, or at subcontractors' premises regarding welding and related technical issues.

 

The position is based in Marseille 9th arrondissement and requires frequent travel to various nuclear power plants in particular.

Your assets

You are rigorous, technically curious, and enjoy working in the field. You are also highly adaptable. Everyone's safety is paramount. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and has a strong health and safety culture.

 

You are currently a student in a three-year degree program preparing for a bachelor's degree in materials/welding, as well as IWT certification.

Valid driver's license required.
