As part of the opening of a new logistics facility dedicated to a major player in the aerospace industry, we are seeking a Site Director to manage two logistics sites located in Sorigny and Châtellerault.
This site, which will eventually employ between 45 and 50 people, will support the development of a business with significant operational, quality, and customer service challenges.
Reporting to the Multi-Site Director at the Tours office, you will play a key role in the development, organization, and performance of the sites, while ensuring operational excellence and team engagement.
Your main responsibilities:
Management & Operations
- You manage operations and oversee both sites
- You are responsible for the smooth execution of logistical operations, adhering to quality, cost, and deadline requirements,
- You optimize organizations, flows, and resources to ensure site performance,
- You support the ramp-up of activities and their continuous improvement,
You define and monitor KPIs and implement necessary corrective actions.
- You strive to maintain a positive social environment.
Our relationship with our client:
- You are the client's key contact for operational and strategic matters,
- You ensure client satisfaction and the quality of service delivery,
- You participate in steering committees (COPIL) and provide regular reports
Quality, Safety, and Environment:
- You ensure that sites adhere to all absolute requirements for safety, quality, and environmental standards,
You deploy and enforce operational procedures and standards.
- You contribute to risk prevention and continuous improvement
Site management and oversight; you may be required to:
- Oversee budget monitoring and operational cost control,
Participate in budget development and profitability management.
- Contribute to workforce planning and recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with support functions to ensure effective administrative management of activities
You have proven experience in managing multi-site logistics or industrial facilities,
- You possess strong operational and managerial expertise
- You are known for your leadership, organizational skills, and results-oriented approach,
- You are adept at working in demanding and evolving environments.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong client focus.
