As part of the launch of a new logistics facility for a major player in the aerospace industry, we are seeking a Site Manager (M/F) to oversee two logistics sites located in Sorigny and Châtellerault.
This site, which will eventually employ between 45 and 50 people, will support the development of a business with significant operational, quality, and customer service challenges.
As a member of the Operations Department, you play a key role in the development, organization, and performance of our sites, while ensuring operational excellence and team engagement.
Your main responsibilities:
Management & Operations
- You will oversee operations and manage both sites,
- You are responsible for ensuring that logistics operations run smoothly while meeting quality, cost, and deadline requirements,
- You optimize organizational structures, workflows, and resources to ensure site performance,
- You will support the scaling up of operations and their continuous improvement,
- You define and monitor KPIs and implement the necessary corrective actions,
- You ensure that a good working environment is maintained.
Our relationship with our client:
- You will serve as the client’s primary point of contact for operational and strategic matters,
- You ensure customer satisfaction and the quality of the service,
- You will participate in steering committees and provide regular reports.
Quality, Safety, and Environment:
- You ensure that the sites comply with strict safety, quality, and environmental requirements,
- You implement and enforce operational procedures and standards,
- You will contribute to risk prevention and continuous improvement.
Site management and oversight; you may be required to:
- Oversee budget monitoring and control of operating costs,
- Help develop budgets and manage profitability,
- Help determine team sizes and assist with recruitment,
- Work with support functions to ensure the proper administrative management of activities.
- Previous experience in distribution, preferably in a site supervision or team management role,
- You have proven experience in managing multi-site logistics or industrial facilities,
- You have strong operational and managerial skills,
- You are known for your leadership, organizational skills, and results-oriented approach,
- You are able to thrive in demanding and rapidly changing environments,
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and are highly customer-focused.
This position is subject to administrative investigation.
