Offer description

Your mission

As part of its expansion, Onet is hiring an International Corporate Lawyer (M/F).

Based at the corporate headquarters in Marseille (9th arrondissement) and reporting to the Group Legal & Compliance Director, you will support Onet’s international subsidiaries (Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Brazil, the United States, Canada, and Japan). You will actively support local teams by proposing pragmatic, business-oriented solutions, working closely with the legal and finance departments of the various entities, in a multicultural and multi-business environment.

In this context, your main tasks are as follows:

  • Advise on the legal structuring of international operations (consortia, joint ventures, choice of business models, etc.).
  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of international companies: incorporations and dissolutions, management of secondary establishments, amendments to articles of incorporation, changes in shareholding, securities transactions (sales and acquisitions), capital increases and reductions, as well as the completion of annual formalities (general meetings, statutory filings, etc.).
  • Monitor corporate offices and establish delegations of authority and signing authority.
  • Draft and monitor intra-group contracts and partnership agreements.
  • Provide legal support for acquisitions and asset disposals: audits, due diligence, and contract negotiations.
  • Work with the Group Compliance Officer and local compliance teams to implement and oversee international compliance policies (competition law, anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, export controls, due diligence, etc.).
  • Develop and coordinate a network of external partners (notaries, law firms, certified translators, etc.) across the various subsidiaries.
  • Oversee local and international law firms: defining the scope of engagements, managing cases, monitoring budgets, and handling litigation and arbitration matters.
  • Advise operational staff, lead training and awareness-raising initiatives, and conduct regular monitoring of international legal developments.
Your assets

You hold a master’s degree (BAC+5) in corporate or business law and have at least 10 years of experience in similar roles, gained first at an international law firm and then in-house within a matrix-style organizational structure.

You have strong expertise in corporate law and international governance, complemented by solid knowledge of structuring, accounting, and taxation. Significant experience in an international setting is required, ideally in the EMEA region and the United States.

You must be fluent in French, English, and Spanish, both written and spoken.

You are thorough and analytical, able to anticipate risks while proposing practical, actionable solutions. You are self-motivated and organized, with an excellent sense of priorities and a strong business focus.

Known for your interpersonal skills, you enjoy working in a team and are able to interact with a wide range of people in an international setting. Finally, you have excellent writing and communication skills.

Onet has been committed to diversity and disability for many years. Onet recruits and recognizes all talents.
