Reporting to the Director of Aerospace Operations, you will oversee technical, commercial, financial, human resources, and social affairs for several aerospace client sites in the southeastern region.
Your main tasks are :
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
o Lead and coordinate operations and support teams,
o Define site policies and objectives in consultation with operational management and implement them within your area of responsibility
o Optimize workflows and schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and performance
o Provide your expertise and advise your supervisors and teams
o Ensure the implementation of and compliance with health and safety regulations as well as working conditions.
o Facilitate site meetings
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
o Ensure the profit center’s profitability and manage the operating statement,
o Monitor the budget
o Analyze the management and performance indicators reported by operational management and address any variances
o Provide regular reports to your supervisors
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
o Drive local business development in collaboration with the engineering department
o Manage relationships with customers and specifiers
o Monitor and improve KPIs
o Identify customer needs
HR AND SOCIAL MANAGEMENT
o Optimal personnel management (careers, training, compliance with regulations)
o Contribute to the selection and recruitment of operational teams
o Manage and facilitate social relations with employee representative bodies
o Ensure a good working environment
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
o Manage the overall performance of sites (quality, costs, deadlines, safety, customer satisfaction) with the support of the Regional Operational Performance Manager
o Use performance analyses and available data to guide managerial and operational decisions
o Arbitrate and prioritize structural action plans
o Challenge organizations and operating methods in order to identify levers for sustainable improvement in profitability and service quality
o Support teams in managing change related to organizational, contractual, or system changes
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics, engineering (particularly aerospace engineering), operations management, or a related field, and have experience in the industrial logistics sector in management roles at a single site or across multiple sites.
As a manager, you have proven leadership skills and know how to bring together multidisciplinary, operational, and support teams in a context of transformation and performance management.
You are comfortable communicating with people at various levels (customers, regional and head office management, social partners).
Focused on results and customer satisfaction, you demonstrate vision, arbitration and decision-making skills, while remaining close to the field. Your resilience, responsiveness, and ability to manage priorities enable you to operate effectively in an environment with high operational, social, and financial stakes.
