The Radiation Protection Engineer (M/F) conducts radiation protection and safety analyses and studies as part of projects and operational activities, and participates in dosimetric assessments, optimization efforts, and dosimetric monitoring.
• Comply with and implement applicable guidelines, procedures, and standards
• Assess radiation risks
• Conduct radiation protection studies and analyses
• Adapt and improve prevention methods and tools
• Provide advice and communicate with the various stakeholders at ONET TECHNOLOGIES CN and our clients
• Develop and update radiation protection tools and guidelines
• Perform radiation protection modeling and related calculations using appropriate computational codes
• Comply with and ensure compliance with guidelines and requirements regarding quality, safety, health, security, the environment, and radiation protection (Q3SER)
• Report incidents, near-misses, hazardous situations, and significant events
• Ensure the traceability of the tasks assigned to them at the request of their supervisor
You hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) in radiation protection and ionizing radiation physics and have at least 3 years of experience
You are proficient in computer software (Microsoft Office) and have strong organizational skills for managing a portfolio of assigned projects in accordance with established milestones.
Familiarity with EDF’s radiation protection guidelines would be a plus.
Familiarity with numerical modeling tools in radiation protection would be a plus.
