As an ESPN Regulatory Engineer, your role involves enforcing ESPN regulations to ensure that equipment meets regulatory requirements in accordance with the schedule.
In this role, your responsibilities include the following:
-Coordinate regulatory activities carried out by the manufacturer and subcontractors to ensure compliance with the ESPN decree, and provide support for the development of highly technical regulatory documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the OH, particularly regarding regulatory project review meetings and technical discussions that may arise from new requirements—such as those related to FNCs encountered during manufacturing.
-Serve as the primary point of contact with the client regarding the regulatory aspects of projects;
-Organize meetings to clarify the application of regulations with the OH, as well as OH inspections at the regulated manufacturer’s facilities or those of its subcontractors;
-Manage responses to requests from the OH
-Ensure reporting on all activities
Specific skills:
Proficiency in the ESPN decree and Directive 2014/68/EU, and knowledge of the RCC-M (ideally, familiarity with the structure of the code and Annexes ZY/ZZ),
Ability to analyze regulations,
Ability to synthesize information and proactively propose solutions to ensure the smooth execution of projects,
Strong interpersonal and writing skills,
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
You have strong skills in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (project managers, technical architects, structural engineers, welding engineers, metallurgists, etc.),
You are methodical and thorough, with a knack for synthesizing information and proven writing skills.
