Your mission

We are hiring locally in Lauterbourg for the position of:

 

IWT Welding Inspector (M/F)

 

Your primary responsibilities involve inspecting large-scale equipment that plays a critical role in safety for an EPR2 nuclear power plant construction project. They are as follows:

  • Ensure that all prerequisites for the start of production are met, 
  • Conduct inspections in accordance with the shutdown points specified in the monitoring documents to ensure compliance at each stage,
  •  Final Documentation Review (FDR) to ensure compliance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the project. 
  • Conduct regular visits to suppliers to monitor the progress and quality of manufacturing, 
  • Identify and track nonconformities reported by subcontractors, 
  • Support for reviewing technical manufacturing documentation (tracking documents, welding specifications, manufacturing procedures, etc.).  

 

 

Your assets

You have a two-year college degree and are IWS and/or IWT certified. You have solid experience in field inspection, ideally in the nuclear industry.

 

You master :

  • Understand manufacturing techniques and processes (welding, forming, etc.) and the associated inspection methods (destructive and non-destructive testing) 
  • Understand the general principles of quality, 
  • Be able to read and understand engineering documents and technical drawings, 
  • Be familiar with one or more manufacturing standards such as EN 1090-2, ISO 13484, RCC-CW, RCC-M, CODAP, or ASME,
