Job Opening: Design Office Manager (M/F), Permanent Position, Bouches-du-Rhône (13)

As part of an internal transfer involving the current Head of the Design Office, and to further expand its operations, Onet Logistique & Production is recruiting a replacement. You will design innovative and high-performance solutions for clients in a variety of sectors, including aerospace, defense, energy, healthcare, construction, automotive, and e-commerce.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will lead the Design Office and help develop solutions that meet our customers' needs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and organize the activities of the Engineering Department,
Analyze customer needs and specifications,
Develop tailored logistics and industrial solutions,
Oversee design studies, sizing, and cost estimates,
Work in coordination with the sales and operations teams,
Ensure the quality and consistency of the studies,
Support the operational implementation of solutions,
Develop methods and tools with a focus on continuous improvement.

Your assets

You hold a college degree in engineering, logistics, industrial engineering, or operations management, and have proven experience in a design office, logistics engineering, or the design of industrial solutions.

You have strong skills in analyzing customer needs, designing technical solutions, and sizing and cost-estimating complex projects. You are able to translate customer challenges into relevant, high-performance, and economically viable solutions.

With a knack for analysis and synthesis, you demonstrate attention to detail, creativity, and a genuine customer-focused mindset. Your ability to collaborate across departments with sales and operations teams is essential to successfully carrying out your projects.

Experience and Skills:

- You have at least 5 years of experience in a technical environment, ideally in a design office, logistics engineering, production methods, or industrial solution design.
- You have a strong grasp of the challenges involved in designing, sizing, and cost-estimating complex solutions.
- You are comfortable managing projects and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Previous experience in management or team leadership would be an asset.
- Your leadership, organizational skills, and ability to propose innovative solutions will enable you to contribute to the growth of our business and the satisfaction of our customers
