Job Opening: Site Manager, Nuclear and Environmental Measurements (MNE) – Male/Female, Permanent Position, Villejust

At our Villejust (91) office, our teams primarily work in the areas of operational support, decommissioning, remediation, and nuclear waste management, particularly for our CEA clients.

The agency also has recognized expertise in Nuclear Measurements and Assessment (MNE), particularly in the areas of radiological investigation, nuclear measurements, and waste characterization.

As part of our business expansion, we are looking for an MNE Site Manager.

Reporting to the project manager, you are a true operational pillar of the construction site. Working on-site, you are responsible for preparing, coordinating, and monitoring operations, while supervising teams and ensuring compliance with requirements for nuclear safety, radiation protection, security, quality, and environmental protection.

Your responsibilities

Prepare and manage construction projects: help plan project activities, organize personnel and equipment, and monitor the progress of the work in accordance with project requirements.

Managing teams: supervising and coordinating field personnel, assigning tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and radiation protection rules and applicable procedures.

Oversee MNE operations: monitor radiological investigation, nuclear measurement, and characterization operations, ensuring the quality and compliance of the work performed.

Manage on-site contingencies: identify technical or organizational challenges, propose appropriate solutions, and ensure their implementation with the teams.

Handle reporting and client relations: monitor daily operations, prepare job site reports, and serve as the client’s operational point of contact to ensure effective communication regarding the progress of the work.

Contribute to continuous improvement: participate in feedback sessions and the sharing of best practices to improve the performance and quality of our work.

The position is based in Villejust (91) and involves regular travel throughout the country, depending on the needs of the projects and business operations.

Your assets

With a high school diploma or up to two years of post-secondary education, you have significant experience in construction site management and team leadership, ideally gained in an industrial or nuclear environment.

Experience in the fields of radiation protection, nuclear measurements, radiological investigation, decontamination, or nuclear waste management is a significant asset.

You are familiar with the requirements for working at nuclear sites and are comfortable in construction environments that demand precision, organization, and strict adherence to procedures.

This position is subject to administrative investigation.
