Onet Propreté is seeking the following for its event agency in Lyon:
Area Manager (M/F)
Reporting to the Agency Director and/or Operations Manager, you will lead your team to ensure the proper execution of service and cleaning operations—both during and outside of events—as well as customer satisfaction and the achievement of your objectives. You will be in direct contact with your clients and will be required to visit their sites and facilities on a regular basis. Your responsibilities are organized around four main areas:
Management / Operations:
- You will supervise staff; Team Leaders and Service Agents,
- You ensure that your team’s cleaning services are carried out (often on staggered shifts) at your clients’ sites,
- You optimize team assignments and schedule planning,
- You maintain a positive work environment,
- You oversee the organization of projects and sites (staff, work schedules, services, equipment, products) to ensure the financial profitability of your operations,
- You ensure the proper management of the equipment fleet,
- You conduct inspections and ensure compliance with specifications,
- You analyze, discuss, and summarize job site reports with the Operations Manager or Branch Manager,
- You handle client reporting in collaboration with the Operations Manager and the Quality Manager.
- You must be available on an occasional basis on weekends and/or in the evenings.
- You create weekly service schedules.
Business Development:
- You regularly follow up with clients in your portfolio,
- You ensure customer satisfaction and manage day-to-day interactions with them,
- You propose additional and special projects,
- You prepare quotes,
- You prepare cost estimates directly with client account managers
Human Resources Management:
- You select and recruit staff,
- In collaboration with your branch, you submit requests for contracts, amendments, bonuses, and overtime, and forward contract, payroll, and billing-related documents to the administrative departments,
- You process weekly time sheets,
- You ensure that staff are trained, authorized, and qualified to perform their duties,
Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment:
- You ensure that QHSE procedures and operating protocols are followed,
- You represent the Company in the development of prevention plans and oversee their implementation,
- You monitor safety-related certifications and authorizations,
If you have at least 2 or 3 years' higher education in management, business, administration, technology, hygiene, cleaning or equivalent, and have gained initial successful experience in site supervision and team management, this position may be of interest to you.
Ideally, you will have significant experience in the cleaning sector, but profiles with a background in operational team management in service, industry, logistics, retail or equivalent will also be considered.
You have a managerial temperament, strong organizational, interpersonal and sales skills, and a good command of IT tools.
Versatile, respectful and a team player, you know how to listen and take initiative.
