Taking preventive action through a QSE network
One of the fundamental missions of Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) professionals is to reduce risks, whether these are specific to the various businesses or more general risks such as psychosocial or road-related risks. So, in the field and across all our businesses, nearly 150 QSEs oversee issues relating to safety, respect for the environment and well-being in the workplace. Since 2022, a veritable network has been set up to "multiply cross-functional exchanges and share expertise, particularly on common tools", explains Christophe MÉTAIS, Group Health & Safety Prevention Manager.
Attentive to the needs of our teams, they are the guarantors of their safety, optimizing working conditions and the safety of each individual. They play an active role in fostering a culture of prevention among employees, by training and supporting teams in the implementation of new methods. For example, by analyzing the major risks to which employees may be exposed, specific safety instructions have been identified for each function. In all, 49 "vital safety rules" have been drawn up for each of the Group's different business lines, to help Group employees in their day-to-day vigilance.
