Offer description

Your mission

Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence, the Operational Excellence Engineer, based in Roissy CDG, leads continuous improvement projects for regional airport stops. He or she contributes to process optimization, the standardization of practices, and the improvement of operational performance, service quality, safety, and cost control.

 

Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement and Performance

  • Analyze the operational processes at stopovers (clearance, runway operations, loading, baggage handling, and aircraft support).
  • Identify malfunctions, productivity losses, and sources of quality issues.
  • Implement Lean Management, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Implement action plans aimed at improving performance indicators.
  • Facilitate Kaizen projects and cross-functional working groups.

Project Management

  • Lead multi-site operational optimization projects.
  • Oversee the implementation of operational standards at stopovers.
  • Supporting organizational and digital transformations.
  • Monitor the gains achieved and ensure their sustainability.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Design and monitor operational dashboards.
  • Leverage production and quality data.
  • Conduct performance analyses and propose corrective actions.
  • Present the results to the operational management teams.

Support for Managers

  • Train port managers in continuous improvement tools.
  • Support field teams as they adopt the new processes.
  • Develop a culture of performance and operational excellence.

Security and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with aviation, safety, and security regulations.
  • Contribute to internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the safety management system.

  • On-time departure (D0, D15).
  • Team Productivity.
  • Compliance with aircraft turnaround times.
  • Procedure compliance rate.
  • Satisfaction of airline clients.
  • Reduction in operating costs.
  • Rate of implementation of action plans.
  • Reduction in operational incidents.
Your assets

Training

  • 5-year engineering degree, Master's in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or project management.
  • Experience in the aviation industry, airport services, transportation, or logistics is highly valued.

Technical skills

  • Lean Management.
  • Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
  • Project Management.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, Power BI, or BI tools.
  • Process mapping.
  • Problem-solving methods (PDCA, A3, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
  • Spoken, written, and read English

Special Requirements
Frequent travel to regional airport locations.
