2026 G7 Summit in Évian: An Exceptional Mobilization of Onet Teams

During the G7 summit, Évian-les-Bains became the hub of international diplomatic exchanges, bringing together heads of state, official delegations, institutional representatives, and media from around the world.

In this highly strategic context, Onet was engaged under a contract with UGAP (France’s leading public procurement agency) to provide security and cleaning services at several key event sites.

To meet this challenge, more than 200 employees from the Paris, Lyon, Marseille, and Nice offices were mobilized. Together, they logged more than 7,500 hours of work over just eight days, demonstrating the group’s ability to rapidly deploy large-scale operations for international events.

The project's success demonstrates the strength of the relationship between UGAP and Onet, which benefits the client. Thanks to ongoing collaboration and seamless coordination among all stakeholders, the system was deployed with great efficiency.

Security measures commensurate with the event

Working alongside law enforcement and government agencies, Onet teams helped secure several sensitive sites, one of which directly hosted heads of state.

The plan was based on mobilization

  • service coordinators,
  • team leaders,
  • RX screening agents,
  • security guard,
  • SSIAP Level 1 and 2 agents.

To meet the specific requirements of the summit, 40 employees also receivedspecialized training in the use of X-ray detection technologies.

Depending on operational needs, up to 150 staff members could be deployed each day to manage access control and ensure the smooth flow of participants.

In the run-up to the event, extensive preparatory work was carried out to design a security plan tailored to the summit’s specific challenges. This phase involved, in particular, analyzing needs, determining the necessary personnel and equipment, anticipating logistical constraints, and coordinating all the stakeholders involved.

This preparation involved, in particular,

  • the selection of agents based on specific criteria,
  • travel coordination
  • the deployment of 34 vehicles in the field, ensuring an effective response throughout the event.

The teams delivered high-quality work that fully met the established standards. I would like to commend all employees for their exemplary dedication.

Cleaning Services for Strategic Areas

Cleanliness was one of the key pillars of the security measures implemented for the G7 summit. As part of these efforts, teams fromOnet Cleaning and Associated Services provided cleaning services at several strategic locations, including areas designated for the international press—notably the Cité de l’eau, which hosted several thousand journalists throughout the event.

Their work covered the entire operational life cycle of the sites:

  • initial restoration of the spaces,
  • continuous attendance throughout the summit,
  • management of hygiene products and regular restocking of sanitary supplies.

A system designed to ensure that participants are provided with impeccable hospitality, while meeting the high standards required for an international diplomatic event.

Faced with an event marked by significant organizational and security constraints, the teams demonstrated great agility. Work schedules were constantly adjusted to accommodate changes in the program and the operational requirements of the various sites.

This project also highlighted the Group’s expertise in event management, honed through numerous national and international events.

This ability to respond quickly and adapt in real time to client needs is one of the hallmarks of Onet’s expertise in the events industry.

We already have this culture of responsiveness to requests that might come in the morning for lunch. So we've managed to adapt well.

A collective success based on expertise and coordination

This project was carried out on behalf of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with UGAP. As a service provider listed with UGAP for over 25 years for personal security and cleaning services—and recognized for its expertise in event management—Onet was able to draw on its full range of expertise.
