Job Opening: Work-Study Program – QHSE Professional Training Contract (M/F) Work-Study Program in Loire-Atlantique (44)

As part of the expansion of our operations in Facility Management, we are seeking a QSE work-study student to help implement and monitor our Quality, Safety, and Environment program for a major client in the shipbuilding industry in Saint-Nazaire.

During your internships, you will primarily work at the client's site in Saint-Nazaire.

Your responsibilities

Reporting to the Naval Safety Training Operations Manager (OPFS) and the Northwest Regional Division, you will work with your mentor to help implement the QHSE policy in accordance with internal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.

In this role, your responsibilities will include, among other things:

help implement the QHSE policy among operational teams;
participate in QHSE outreach and awareness-raising activities in the field;
ensure that safety guidelines are properly followed and report any identified deviations;
help oversee the QHSE management system and certification processes, particularly CEFRI;
help collect and analyze information related to workplace accidents and occupational diseases;
support teams in the proper use of personal protective equipment, tools, and procedures;
help with the safety orientation of new employees;
conduct safety inspections and internal audits with the support of your mentor;
help update QHSE documents: DUERP, standard operating procedures, prevention plans, and monitoring materials;
participate in regulatory monitoring and the tracking of information relevant to risk prevention, in coordination with the relevant departments;
contribute to communication and safety awareness campaigns;
monitor QHSE metrics and help implement the related action plans.

Your assets

Your profile

You are pursuing a higher education program at the Bac+2 through Bac+5 level, at an engineering school or a university, with a specialization in QHSE
You demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive approach, and strong analytical skills.
You enjoy working as part of a team and know how to gradually develop your independence.
You are comfortable communicating and leading awareness-raising initiatives, both verbally and in writing.
You are proficient in office software, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
A Class B driver's license is required for mission-related travel.

Occasional work at heights may be necessary. Such work will be performed in accordance with applicable safety measures and subject to the recommendations of the occupational health and safety department.
