Job Opening: Work-Study Program – QHSE Professional Training Contract in Roscoff (M/F) Work-Study Program in Brittany

Reporting to Brittany Ferries’ Safety Training Operations Manager (OPFS) and the Northwest Regional Division, you will help implement the QHSE policy in accordance with internal, contractual, and regulatory requirements. You will work in a dynamic, multi-project environment, serving a major client in the maritime sector.

Your main responsibilities:

Participate in the deployment of the QHSE policy and support operational teams
Oversee QHSE activities in the field and ensure compliance with current requirements; contribute to the monitoring of the national QHSE system and certification processes (e.g., CEFRI)
Tracking work-related accidents and illnesses
Support teams in the use of protective equipment (PPE), tools and procedures
Participate in the safety induction of new employees
Conduct safety inspections and internal audits
Update HSE documentation (DUERP, operating procedures, prevention plans, etc.)

Location: Position based in Roscoff (headquarters). Occasional travel to the sites in Cherbourg, Saint-Malo, and Ouistreham is also required.

You have a good command of office automation tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Required prerequisites:

Class B driver's license required (company car available)
A personal vehicle is required (work hours and travel between sites are not compatible with public transportation)
Access to the Restricted Access Zone (RAZ) is mandatory: obtaining a badge is subject to an administrative background check and requires a clean criminal record, which is an essential requirement for working at secure port facilities
