Job Opening: Radiation Safety Technician (M/F), Permanent Position, Isère (38)

As part of the expansion of our decommissioning operations, we are hiring a Radiation Safety Technician (m/f) to work with the on-site team in Creys-Malville.

Your role is crucial: You ensure the safety of the site and the employees in the field.

Your main tasks will be as follows:

1) Risk management across all areas: radiological protection, safety

- Safety and radiation protection prevention across all sites.

- Communicate during meetings regarding the implementation of various measures to ensure personnel safety during operations.

- Remind personnel of site rules and developments in radiation protection.

- Implementation of corrective actions following non-compliance with rules.

- Perform radiological mapping.

2) Use of specific equipment

- Conduct measurements to identify potential risks in various operational areas.

- Verification and conformity of equipment for measurement execution

- Installation of surveillance equipment at construction sites

- Daily checks of measurements in the work areas

- Monitoring the proper operation of equipment already on site

Your assets

Ideally, a high school diploma or two years of post-secondary education with a specialization in radiation protection, or completion of the PNR or STARS 4 training program, along with some initial experience in a similar position.

Position based in Creys-Malville.

This position is subject to administrative investigation.
